The Norwegian Elkhound (Norsk Elghund Grå) was shaped over thousands of years to hunt moose in dense Nordic forest — independent, enduring, and bonded to the people who work beside them.
Courage, intelligence, loyalty and stamina define the breed. A thick weatherproof coat and keen senses make them as at home in deep winter as they are by the hearth.
